Bellevue College women’s basketball continued their pre-season journey amongst some of the top teams in the NWAC but fell short again tonight to host Lower Columbia 73-41. After playing relatively even up to halftime, Bellevue fell flat in a decisive third quarter in which Lower Columbia outscored BC 31-9 to put the game out of reach. Lower Columbia held a 24-9 advantage in shots and took advantage of a whopping 13 turnovers by the ‘dogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the game, Bellevue had 34 turnovers and could not make up any ground with free opportunities as they sank only 10-of-24 free throws for a 42% mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
