Bellevue College women’s soccer used a 23-0 shot advantage to win easily over visiting Whatcom 4-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue put in three goals in the first half to seize control as Haley Swanson opened things up with a goal at the 21:32 mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep into the second half, BC strung together two goals within ten minutes as Oteta Kitiona and Layne Davis found the back of the net, the latter on a feed from Karly Ellis. Kitiona kept pressure on Whatcom from the beginning, firing off two shots on goal in the first 15 minutes of play <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bulldogs cruised in the second half, relying on a strong defense allowing Bellevue goalkeeper Paige Boyce to be in comfort mode in the box all day as the Orcas were unable to get a shot off on her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the game well under control, Natalie Jas added a fourth and final goal 77 minutes into the game off an assist by Galiala Abeye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
