Bellevue College volleyball continued their winning ways at Olympic, defeating the Rangers in straight sets 25-23, 25-18, 25-9. The Bulldogs labored a bit with serve receive and on the offensive end, hitting .190 for the first two sets with 10 errors, but cleaned it up in the dominating set three with a .438 clip. The defensive front row was on top of their game, limiting Olympic to a paltry -.140 hitting average. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In set one, the Bulldogs found themselves down 21-18 as the Rangers smelled upset early on, but three consecutive points by Mya Hejl, Gillian Merhoff, and Cadence Lyon put an end to the Rangers’ hopes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In set two, the ‘dogs went on a torrid 10-1 run to move the score from 8-6 to 18-7 as Olivia Chilton paced the rally with two kills in the 10 point stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Merhoff led BC with seven kills while setter Lucci Unga had 13 assists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bellevue will host Shoreline next Fri. Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
