Bellevue College men’s golf continued their strong play from earlier this fall and from two weeks ago in their spring opener with an impressive come-from-behind win at the CBC Invite, held at the prestigious Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland. As a team they ended the first round down by 10 strokes to CBC but then erased that deficit in round two to head into the final round tied with both CBC and Spokane. The ‘dogs separated themselves and ended up winning by 17 strokes. The Bulldogs were +9 for round three, besting their next competitor Corban University by six strokes who were +15 in the final round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five of the six Bulldog golfers ended up placing in the top fifteen of the individual standings in a field of over seventy players. Isaac Elaimy, Kai Lambro, and Jack Leary finished fourth, fifth, and sixth respectively in the deep field as Elaimy carded rounds of 79-75-76. Lambro bounced back after shooting an opening round 85 with rounds of 74 and 72. Leary also made a charge after a rough day one with rounds of 83-74-75. Jackson Kokich shot under 80 all three rounds with 78-78-79 to finish tied for eleventh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
