The tourney paired Bellevue with two teams, Centralia and Mt. Hood and on Fri. Aug. 28 at Centralia before shifting to Highline on Sat. Aug. 29 for two more against Treasure Valley and Clackamas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Friday opener, Bellevue lost 3-0 to host Centralia as the team&#8217;s offense labored hitting .083 with 22 errors. Ava Nowak had 12 kills. The &#8216;dogs were rusty at the serve line as well committing seven service errors while recording only four and surrendered nine Trailblazer service aces. Nowak also had 19 digs while Tessa Mossburg had 21. In the Mt. Hood game, the &#8216;dogs won 3-0 as the offense picked up, swinging at a red-hot .440. Ja&#8217;elle Jenkins had 15 kills and hit .375 while Nowak was error-free with 12. Lucci Unga had 24 assists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BC swept Treasure Valley on Saturday with Nowak garnering 15 kills with only two errors. Jenkins had eight kills and three aces as Bellevue held a 10-3 advantage at the serve line. Bellevue closed out the tourney with a tough 3-1 loss to Clackamas with every set close (25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21). Nowak and Jenkins accounted for 31 of the team&#8217;s 49 kills. Unga had 25 assists while Mossburg collected 27 digs. The defense was scrappy the entire match as the &#8216;dogs had 101 digs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bulldogs are 3-2 and will embark on a three day tour through Oregon facing Clackamas, Mt. Hood, and Lane. The &#8216;dogs take on Clackamas again this Tue.
