Bellevue College’s women’s soccer team broke out offensively with a 13-0 win on the road over Grays Harbor College on Saturday September 27. Bellevue scored seven of the goals in the first half and got going quickly at the eight minute mark as Jessica Walters scored on a feed from Amber Reiber.\u00a0 Walters, Sam Mellick, Hannah Kidson, Shelby Hatlen, and Melody Blake all had two goals apiece for Bellevue. The scoring spree was much needed as Bellevue’s offense had only 13 goals all year heading into the game.\u00a0 The Bulldogs are still right in the thick of things for the West Region race as their stellar defense has allowed only two losses in league play this season.\u00a0 They are currently in third place as they take on\u00a0 Peninsula in a key matchup this Friday October 3 at 2:00 PM at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
