The Bulldogs, who have scored 19 goals in their last three games, enjoyed their final home game of the season as the sophomores were honored before the game. The Bulldog freshmen duo of Flora Bielec and Anna Sandnes delivered early with goals in the first 30 minutes of the game. Sophomore Sawyer Young’s goal at 13:54 was sandwiched by Bielec’s at 10:28 and Sandnes’ at 30:21. Kiara Scheidt, who has been one of BC’s mainstays for two years, nearly missed just 25 seconds into the game after a save by Trojan goalkeeper Sophia Harper. Scheidt contributed on the assisting end though on Bielec’s goal. Bellevue continued to pound on Everett’s goal, with nine shots in the first half. The dominance offensively put BC up 3-0 at intermission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ball control did not change in the second half as Bellevue sophomore Parker Olson missed just high moments into the second half. Snaha Giri and Lariza Jacobo both had shots on goal before Scheidt connected with Kiana Deibler for Bellevue’s fourth goal. Bielec would add the fifth and final goal off a penalty kick with just seven minutes remaining in the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The win puts Bellevue above .500 at 5-4-2 in North Region play. The Bulldogs will wrap up the season this Wed.
