The final eight placing was the best finish of a BC women&#8217;s soccer team since the early 2000&#8217;s.\u00a0 Head Coach Kiko Magana has improved BC women&#8217;s soccer in each of his two years and he guided the Bulldogs to the final eight of the NWAC Championships.\u00a0 Although knotted at 0-0 at halftime, Everett came out and scored quickly in the second half on a goal by Karissa Burnett (the sister of former BC women&#8217;s soccer player Amanda Burnett). Everett continued with shots on goal as BC goalkeeper Maggie Alikpala-Wilson had seven saves although giving up three.
