After entering the locker room at halftime gridlocked at 29 apiece, BC came out strong in the second half outscoring the Trojans 42-32 for the 10 point win. Rotating in only one extra player all night, Bellevue women&#8217; used only six players in the win as sophomore Hunter Hopkins proved to be a workhorse, playing all 40 minutes and scoring a season-high 28 points. Hopkins also had nine rebounds, and four assists. Mikayla Jones also had an all-around effort scoring 17 points, had six rebounds, five steals, and nine assists. Although freshman Kape Cosmos did not score, she came up big with a team-leading 11 rebounds , including six offensive boards.\u00a0 Bellevue is now 7-0 in league play as they round out the first half of league. The Bulldogs are also riding the hottest win streak in the NWAC at nine games.
