The Cardinals answered with 55 points in the second half to keep Bellevue at a distance.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams had a balanced scoring attack with Skagit having five players in double figures and Bellevue with four.\u00a0 Freshman Jordan Muir-Kueng led BC with 19 points. Jack Walton added 17 points. The big man down under was extremely efficient, going 5-for-8 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Brian Zehr and Yonathan Michael each had 16 points. Zehr also led the &#8216;dogs with 7 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue is 0-3 in league and 9-9 overall. Although winless in league play so far, Bellevue is only two games behind the leader and is also tied at 0-3 with Whatcom; the highest-ranked team in the North Region heading into league play.<\/p>\n<p>The competitiveness and balance in the North has been evident so far with no team racing out in front in the win-loss category.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue travels to Edmonds on Wednesday , Jan. 20 for a 7 p.m. tipoff.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jordan Muir-Kueng led BC with 19 points. photo by Rich Dworkis.
