Bellevue College Athletics has announced a coaching change for their women\u2019s soccer program. Dan Lock, who guided Bellevue\u2019s women\u2019s team to one of their best seasons in the program history this past fall, has recently accepted a new coaching opportunity and will not be able to continue as Head Coach for Bellevue College. Lock stated, \u201cI’ve loved my time at BC and really enjoyed building on the foundations Kiko (Magana, Bellevue\u2019s women\u2019s coach prior to Lock) set and having a great season last year. The program is in a good place.\u201d<\/p>\n
Athletic Director Bill O\u2019 Connor has hired Richard Romain-Dika as the new Head Women\u2019s Soccer Coach for Bellevue College.<\/p>\n
Romain-Dika is a familiar face at Bellevue College. He was an NWAC all-star for the Bulldog men\u2019s soccer team in 2005 and 2006, leading Bellevue to the finals during his sophomore season. He is coaching the Rainier Beach HS boys\u2019 soccer team this spring and also was on staff for the Cameroon Women\u2019s National Team for the World Cup held in Canada this past year. Romain-Dika has a B.A. in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and is currently employed in the tech department on campus at Bellevue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
