FAQs

How do I get there? When you register, please include the email address that you will use for Zoom, as well as a phone number in case you end up needing to phone in to the Symposium. We will email you a webinar link prior to the Symposium date.

I’m not autistic, but I want to present. Can I? This conference will feature only presenters who identify or are diagnosed as autistic (or on the autism spectrum.) Most autism conferences feature non-autistic presenters, and we want to create a space that allows the voices of autistic people to be heard as the experts that they are, and as the prominent voice. This does not mean that we don’t value other perspectives. This conference is a time to listen to the voices of autistic people.

It’s past the deadline for workshop proposals! Can I still present? Usually, however, not this year! Due to circumstances, we have a short conference and a narrow focus.

Can my child attend? Anyone can attend virtually. Please keep your mic muted so our presenters, readers, and listeners can focus!

How do I pay? You don’t! The Symposium is free this year! If you would like to donate to the Symposium or to the Neurodiversity Navigators program or one of our sponsors, please email Sara at sara.gardner@bellevuecollege.edu for more information.

I would like to discuss a concern, who do I talk to? You can send us an email at asn@bellevuecollege.edu and we will route it to the best person to answer your concern. Or, if you need to speak to someone right away, you can phone Sara Gardner at 425.564.2172. Or email! sara.gardner@bellevuecollege.edu
