Ris Swank has an MA in Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies from the University of Essex and a BA in Psychology from Seattle University. They have worked with Neurodiversity Navigators as a Peer Mentor since 2020. Additionally, Ris has a background in qualitative and mixed-methodology research.
Ris is dedicated to empowering students to succeed at Bellevue College and beyond and works through a social justice lens. They will be supporting the development of an upcoming program with the RISE Learning Institute, Disabled Students Navigating STEM.
In their free time, Ris enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and collecting vinyl records. They also love taking care of their many plants, and our office plants as well!
