Due to COVID-19, our office is currently closed to the public. We are still here for you, and working online and remotely.



ESL classes:
We apologize, but are currently not accepting new ESL students for Spring Quarter. Please contact us in the Summer or Fall.

The ESL program offers English language classes to Students who have a college or career goal and a language acquisition goal. The ESL Program is a three-quarter continuous enrollment program.

If you are a J-1, F-1, M-1, B-1 or B-2 Visa holder, please contact our English Language Institute Department.


  • Develop listening and communication skills necessary as adults in family, community or workplace situations.
  • Read and write in English for a variety of purposes.
  • Learn about American culture and everyday life in the United States.

  • 6 levels of English
  • ESL classes are for adult citizens, immigrants and refugees only
  • Classes are 4-10 hours per week.
  • Day and evening classes.
  • Special one-quarter classes in Job Preparation and computer literacy.
  • There is a $25 refundable registration fee for these classes.

  • New students must take a placement test, oral and written.
  • Age 18 or over.
  • People with Tourist Visas and Foreign Student Visas (F-1) may not take ESL classes.  If you are an international student on F1 or tourist visa, please check with the ELI program

Please note that homework and regular attendance are required.  Students with unexcused absences will be dropped from classes.
