Jean Pauley is a full-time instructor who has worked at Bellevue College for more than 15 years. She teaches students in the ESL program. Jean is a popular instructor with her students, as she helps them to improve their English in all four skill areas: reading and writing, speaking and listening.
During summer quarter, Jean teaches the Preparing for Work class where she guides students through job applications, resume writing and understanding interview questions. She helps students to feel more confident through focused teaching and encouragement to learn and practice.
Jean worked in the accounting field before earning her teaching degree. She lives in Seattle with her husband. Together they enjoy outdoor activities, nature and photography.
