Use your past high school credits, work and life experience, and job training\u2014along with our classes\u2014to finish your diploma and move forward with confidence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking for the GED\u00ae Preparation Courses, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/bats\/abe\/\">ABE website<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-collapsibles accordion\" id=\"accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-collapse card bg-secondary text-bg-secondary\n\t\t text-white\"><div class=\"card-header\" id=\"heading_004ea30e-52db-4227-b8a5-0f341960f952\"><h2 class=\"mb-0\"><button class=\"btn collapsed text-white\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse_004ea30e-52db-4227-b8a5-0f341960f952\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse_004ea30e-52db-4227-b8a5-0f341960f952\">Classes<\/button><\/h2><\/div><div id=\"collapse_004ea30e-52db-4227-b8a5-0f341960f952\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading_004ea30e-52db-4227-b8a5-0f341960f952\" data-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\"><div class=\"card-body bg-light text-dark\">\n<p>We must review your <strong>high school transcripts<\/strong> to find out which classes you still need to earn your diploma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>State of Washington<\/strong> sets the minimum requirements for a high school diploma.<br>The requirements depend on <strong>when you first entered 9th grade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most students need <strong>19 to 24 high school credits<\/strong> to graduate.<br><em>High school credits are different from college credits.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Credits are required in these subjects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Math<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>History<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government (Civics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Art<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical Education and Health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occupational subjects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bellevue College offers many ways to help you complete these requirements<\/strong> and earn your high school diploma.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-collapse card bg-dark text-bg-dark\n\t\t text-white\"><div class=\"card-header\" id=\"heading_442c4ba7-5fe5-416d-84c9-d2475fc9553f\"><h3 class=\"mb-0\"><button class=\"btn collapsed text-white\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse_442c4ba7-5fe5-416d-84c9-d2475fc9553f\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse_442c4ba7-5fe5-416d-84c9-d2475fc9553f\">Cost<\/button><\/h3><\/div><div id=\"collapse_442c4ba7-5fe5-416d-84c9-d2475fc9553f\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading_442c4ba7-5fe5-416d-84c9-d2475fc9553f\" data-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\"><div class=\"card-body bg-light text-dark\">\n<p>Tuition is $25 per quarter for the Adult Basic Education (ABE) and High School Plus program, no matter how many classes you take with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Paying your tuition:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pay <strong>online<\/strong> with a card through the self-service portal on Ctclink. <a href=\"http:\/\/ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us\/m\/79750\/l\/1179237-9-2-student-self-service-make-a-payment\">Instructions are online<\/a> for making a payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay <strong>by phone<\/strong> 425-564-2309 with a card, Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:00p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay <strong>in person<\/strong> at Bellevue College in the U building first floor (at counters in the lobby).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tuition Waiver<\/strong> &#8211; help with tuition and parking is available if you have financial need. Apply for a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.bellevuecollege.edu\/bats\/bats-tuition-waiver-2\/\">tuition waiver here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-panel card bg-primary text-white\"><div class=\"card-body\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WORKFORCE EDUCATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your income is currently limited or you are currently receiving Basic Food Assistance&nbsp;(SNAP\/EBT) or TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) from DSHS, or you are receiving unemployment insurance benefits (UI), the Bellevue College <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/we\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WorkForce Education<\/a> office may be able to help you pay for tuition, textbooks, childcare or transportation costs. &nbsp;To qualify, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/we\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apply Online<\/a>, or visit them for more information. See the drop-down menu above titled &#8220;Students age 16-18 &#8211; IMPORTANT INFORMATION&#8221; for more information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T and U Visa holders <em>are<\/em> eligible for our programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Washington State residents are eligible for our programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student with these Visa types, please pay attention to the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/other-visa-categories\/visas-for-victims-of-human-trafficking.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/other-visa-categories\/visas-for-victims-of-human-trafficking.html\"><strong>T visa<\/strong><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/other-visa-categories\/visas-for-victims-of-criminal-activity.html\"><strong>U visa<\/strong><\/a> holders ARE eligible for our programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/student-visa.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/student-visa.html\"><strong>F-1 or M-1 visa<\/strong><\/a><\/span> holders&nbsp;are not allowed to participate in publicly (state or federal) funded adult education.&nbsp;Please see our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/international\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/international\/\">International Education<\/a> office for assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/exchange.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/study\/exchange.html\"><strong>J-1 visa<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;holders (nannies, au pairs. student exchange) on are required to participate in college-level academic classes, not BEdA classes.&nbsp;Homeland Security may have additional procedural rules regarding non-citizens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas\/tourism-visit\/visitor.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>B-1 or B-2 visa<\/strong><\/a> holders are not allowed to participate in any study or education programs according to the U.S. Department of State.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-collapse card bg-secondary text-bg-secondary\n\t\t text-white\"><div class=\"card-header\" id=\"heading_c1660558-c2a5-4330-af8e-dfab113dda34\"><h3 class=\"mb-0\"><button class=\"btn collapsed text-white\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse_c1660558-c2a5-4330-af8e-dfab113dda34\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse_c1660558-c2a5-4330-af8e-dfab113dda34\">ABE\/GED<\/button><\/h3><\/div><div id=\"collapse_c1660558-c2a5-4330-af8e-dfab113dda34\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading_c1660558-c2a5-4330-af8e-dfab113dda34\" data-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordion_81113f37-2b04-45f6-8772-6cbd35711703\"><div class=\"card-body bg-light text-dark\">\n<p><strong>Adult Basic Education (ABE)<\/strong> classes help you build the reading, writing, and math skills you need to take the next step toward college or a better job.
