Why would you need instructional designer help to build your Canvas site?

Would you like to learn how to create an accessible and engaging online, hybrid, or web-enhanced course in Canvas? An eLearning Instructional Technologist / Designer will be available at the eLearning & Media Center in the Library Media Center to answer your questions!

Instructional Designers will be available to help instructors design their Canvas sites, based on the most effective instructional design and UDL principles. Both new to online/hybrid teaching and experienced instructors are welcome!

Consultations are available by appointment or walk-in, to assist instructors with course design strategies as they relate to the pedagogical delivery of content. These strategies work not only for online and hybrid courses, but also for web-enhanced courses. Since this is the direction Bellevue College is moving in terms of teaching modalities, it is a great opportunity to have a consult about current trends in eLearning:

  • To make Canvas courses accessible
  • To cater to UDL standards from a design standpoint.
