We are experienced in getting students admitted to the top business schools<strong> <\/strong>in the country but we pride ourselves in being a space where our students find the right path&#8211;even if it is not a business school. Whatever type of student you are &#8211; <a href=\"#new-students\">New<\/a>, <a href=\"#returning-students\">Returning<\/a>, <a href=\"#international-students\">International<\/a>, or <a href=\"#running-start-students\">Running Start<\/a> &#8211; we have found that some things are common to everyone&#8217;s experience: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md-7\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Business Transfer Program an inexpensive and accessible way to start your path to an AACSB-accredited business school. Only 5% of all business schools in the world are AACSB accredited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can save tuition dollars by completing the first two years with us. We are less than 50% of the cost of attending a university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our grads have gone on to transfer to some prestigious business schools and universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We offer many events and activities that allow students to explore many facets of business and to network with each other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We put students in contact with diverse executives of large companies and entrepreneurs of startup enterprises. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classes are smaller than at universities and students have more opportunities to interact with faculty and each other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We call on our graduates who work at Microsoft, T-Mobile, Amazon, Starbucks, Boeing, Big 4 accounting, or who have started their own businesses like Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya, to interact with you so you can aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Sequence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve developed a <em>suggested<\/em> sequence of courses to take for the Associate in Business to complete in two years. If you plan to attend part-time, the sequence is the same but you will do it over a longer period of time. This sequence is based on our research of how students can get the highest GPA. All business schools are selective in that you have to apply to get in. Some only take a portion of the applicants so having the best GPA can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Running Start students may have a slightly different sequence, depending on their high school curriculum. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English and Math<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you placed in an English level that is lower than ENGL&amp; 101 or a math level that is lower than MATH 138, your course sequence will be changed. Remember that both English and Math can be practiced before you assess and students have moved up levels by practicing. Taking the prerequisite class is not always a hindrance. It can help you polish your skills and gain confidence. No one is born with these skill sets. They gain them through practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong reading and writing skills are required in business classes so taking English first is a must. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It makes sense to take math courses in sequence because you will remember concepts. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will do better in accounting and statistics if you complete math first.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We also recommend that you join the Business Leadership Club as they have a number of events each year to remind you of the application process. We offer events and activities that allow students to explore many facets of business. We put students in contact with executives of large companies and entrepreneurs of emerging enterprises. Classes are smaller than at universities and students have more opportunities to interact with faculty and each other.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"returning-students\">Returning Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Returning students may have started college before or taken a few years off to work. These students may have families to support and often continue to work full-time while studying. We understand the anxiety when you have to recover learning from years ago. We understand the stressor in balancing work\/life\/school. We provide support through advising and our own Business tutoring center to eliminate gaps in learning. Our international alumni subsequently return to their home countries and run family businesses or hold important positions in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md-7\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"running-start-students\">Running Start Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">Graduating from college with as little student debt as possible is a great advantage. One of the best-kept secrets about Running Start is that you can complete the requirements of an Associate in Business degree while completing your high school requirements. This can save you two years of tuition at any of our state business schools and get you out to the workplace much more quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">Former Running Start students have said that their lives were transformed from attending Bellevue College. They had access to a comprehensive system of tutoring centers (including science, math, English and business) to help with courses. They were able to participate in undergraduate research. The Multicultural Service Center provides support to students of color who are over half of our student population. They make lifelong friends with a diverse group of peers including international students from all over the world including Asia and Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">Our Running Start students like the flexibility of coming to Bellevue College to complete their classes. They are able to fit in jobs or valuable internships while they attend class. The Bellevue College Career Center provided invaluable tips on resumes, networking and job search.  One student worked as a digital marketing consultant and another interned at a law firm.
