{"id":248,"date":"2025-05-19T16:27:46","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T23:27:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/careers-redesign-dev\/?page_id=248"},"modified":"2025-09-03T14:24:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T21:24:44","slug":"our-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/careers\/employers\/our-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-bc-sitka-spruce-narrow-content narrow-content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-lead lead\">As the third largest institution of higher learning in Washington State, Bellevue College serves more than 30,000 students per year, and we send more transfer students to bachelor\u2019s degree-granting institutions than any of the state\u2019s 34 community and technical colleges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"section section-white body-section-wrapper alignfull wp-block-bc-sitka-spruce-body-section\">\n\t<div class=\"container-xl\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"body-section-content col-md-8\">\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demographics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Total Students Enrolled<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>20,342 annually (making Bellevue College the third largest educational institution in Washington state, behind only the University of Washington and Washington State University).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas of Study<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>79% of all enrollments are in degree or certificate programs; others are in Continuing Education and Adult Basic Skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>55% of credit students are pursuing Freshman\/Sophomore studies prior to transfer to a four-year program (Bellevue College sends more transfer students to four-year schools\u2013primarily the University of Washington\u2013than any other community college in the state).
