We invite over 50 employers from various industries to attend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Job Fairs are not just for finding a job. They are forums to learn about companies and what they are looking for in applicants. Our Career Specialists can help with this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research the organizations attending the Job Fair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For organizations that interest you, prepare to explain why you want to work there and any questions you have.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decide what you\u2019re going to wear. Dress professionally such that the focus remains on you, not on what you\u2019re wearing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practice introducing yourself with your name, academic and career goals, and any examples of how you\u2019re working toward those goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Print hard copies of your resume to bring. Ask the representatives any questions you have and engage in conversation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask for a business card from each representative you speak with to collect their contact information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid distractions when talking with the representatives.
