8 Great Bellevue College Student Resources

The Continuing Education department of Bellevue College may not be located on Main Campus, but that doesn’t stop us from having access to many helpful resources that are available to all Bellevue College students.  We are constantly learning of the many free resources that students on both campuses can use to their advantage, and we want you to make the most of these helpful freebies.

As a BC Bulldog, you have access to any and all of these student resources. Whether you’d like to find your dream job, learn about the cosmos, or get a discount on anything from Microsoft Office 365 to movie tickets, Bellevue College can help!

So, what are some of these student perks and services?

  1. The Center for Career Connections offers tons of great resources to students preparing for a job search, including free workshops, career counseling, and the Connect! job board. Also be sure to check out their Networking & Job Fair to connect with local employers and recruiters!
  2. With a mission to advocate for student, college, and community success, the Counseling Center offers up to six free counseling sessions to students per academic year. Counseling is available for personal, academic, and career concerns. Give them a call to learn more and set up an appointment.
  3. Bellevue College’s Wellness Center offers students fun and healthy outdoor recreation and open gym activities, many for just $5! Some upcoming events include an introduction to overnight backpacking, a table tennis tournament, tandem sea kayaking, and rock climbing!
  4. Did you know that BC has a Fitness Center available to students? Visit their website to learn more!
  5. Students with disabilities have access to all of the resources the Disability Resource Center (DRC) has to offer, including accommodation coordination. Check out their webpage for a complete list of these resources and to connect with the DRC team!
  6. Want to learn more about black holes, the wonders of the universe, and the secret lives of stars? These are some of the exciting topics to be covered at the upcoming free shows at the Planetarium! Visit Planetarium website to view the schedule of shows. (Update: The Planetarium is temporarily closed due to construction from May-December 2016)
  7. Are movie ticket prices draining your wallet these days? Bellevue College students with ID cards are eligible to receive a discount on tickets at local theaters! Find out more on the Student Programs page.

This only scratches the surface of what BC has to offer its students.
