Class meets 1/6, 1/20,  2/3,  2/17,  3/3 & 3/17. This course is intended for students pursuing the Sustainability Concentration, but is open to any BC student interested in learning about methods used to solve sustainability problems. Using case studies, various aspects of sustainability science will be explored, including wicked problems, current state analysis, use of indicators, future thinking through scenarios and visioning, and transition strategies. Students pursuing the Sustainability Concentration will periodically report on the progress of their service learning projects.
