Alana Jaeck received a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University at Albany. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has experience providing individual and group counseling to a diverse range of students. Her professional interests include grief and loss, relationships, trauma, identity development, adjustment/transition, and mindfulness. Alana is also passionate about her work with hospice and providing support surrounding end of life issues. Her counseling approach is based on the unique needs of the individual and she works with clients to determine how counseling can be most useful for them based on their experiences, background, culture, and worldview. Alana believes counseling is a collaborative process and she seeks to provide a safe and supportive environment that empowers individuals to reach their goals.
