Eligibility\nrequirement for up to 6 months of rental assistance (EXPIRES DECEMBER 21)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Student lives in Seattle<\/li>
- Student is enrolled in 6 credits or\nmore OR is in a credential\/degree-seeking program<\/li>
- Have a household monthly income\nbelow 50% AMI<\/li>
- Be behind on rent<\/li>
- If student has worked with BH\nprogram before: must make an appointment via this link: https:\/\/www.uwkc.org\/benefitshub\/<\/a><\/li>
- If a student HAS NOT worked with BH\nbefore, they can fill out this form: bit.ly\/bh-renthelp<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Here are\nsome things students should prepare ahead of starting the application: For the\n6 month rental assistance program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Photo ID<\/li>
- Copy of Lease, if couch surfing they\nwill have to download a form for self-certification which is on the rent\napplication<\/li>
- Landlord\/Property Manager Contact\nInformation<\/li>
- Proof of Income for Adults in\nHousehold (not required, but will have to at least know how much and type of\nincome each adult makes)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Again the\nprogram is time-limited, so it is important we get as many students as possible\nto apply before December 21 (will give us time to process application by\ndeadline of December 31). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
