Fall is the primary entry point, with approximately 60\u201380 students admitted, and Winter has a smaller cohort of approximately 10\u201320 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications for Fall entry open in March and close before the start of the quarter in mid-September. Winter applications open in November and close in mid-December. Most applicants who meet the minimum requirements are admitted. Choose the one that matches your academic background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>First-Year Applicants<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply as a First-Year Applicant if you have completed 40 or fewer transferable college credits. First-Year applicants are not required to complete prerequisite courses before applying. Instead, you must be eligible to enroll in the following courses through placement, prior coursework, or qualifying exam scores:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MATH&amp; 151 Calculus I; Placement by assessment or MATH&amp; 142 with a C- or better, or AP score of 2 or higher on AB or BC exam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ENGL&amp; 101 English Composition I; Placement by assessment or ENGL 092 or ENGL 093 with C- or better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Transfer Applicants<\/strong> <em>(Most Common Option)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apply as a Transfer Applicant if you have completed more than 40 transferable college credits or already hold a bachelor&#8217;s degree. Transfer applicants must complete the following prerequisite courses (or equivalent transfer courses) with a minimum grade of C (2.0) in each course. Prerequisite courses may be in progress at the time of application but must be completed before the start of your first quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ENGL&amp; 101 \u2013 English Composition I<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MATH&amp; 151 \u2013 Calculus I<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MATH&amp; 152 \u2013 Calculus II<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CS 210 \u2013 Fundamentals of Computer Science I<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CS 211 \u2013 Fundamentals of Computer Science II<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5\u20136 credits of one laboratory science:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PHYS 121<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biology with lab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemistry with lab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants who earn less than a C (2.0) in a prerequisite course may still apply, but preference is given to applicants who meet the minimum grade requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Transfer Credit &amp; Equivalencies<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve completed coursework at another institution or earned college credit through AP, IB, Cambridge, or other qualifying exams, use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/admissions-aid\/getting-started\/transfer\/equivalencies\/\">Bellevue College&#8217;s Transfer Evaluation System (TES)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/admissions-aid\/getting-started\/transfer\/ap-ib-cambridge-exams\/\">Exam Credit Guide<\/a> to see how your coursework may transfer. Because most courses include in-person or hybrid instruction, the program is eligible for F-1 international students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All international applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency as defined by the the International Education (IE) department&nbsp;by the application deadline.
