The Data Management Association<\/a> <\/strong>(DAMA) defines data management as \u201cthe development of architectures, policies, practices, and procedures to manage the data lifecycle.\u201d Put more simply, data management and analysis is the practice of collecting, organizing, protecting, and storing an organization\u2019s data so it can be analyzed for business decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
