I am originally from a province in central China. I completed both my bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in Beijing, a beautiful city where I spent most of my time outside my hometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I then came to the United States to pursue my PhD at Oregon State University. My research focuses on the economic impacts of climate change, particularly climate-related natural disasters, and how these events affect local communities, housing affordability, and water quality. After earning my PhD, I continued my research as a postdoctoral scholar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been in the Pacific Northwest since starting my graduate studies and am now based in Bothell. I really enjoy the natural environment here, being surrounded by forests, rivers, and lakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of work, I like hiking, gardening, and cooking.
