If you&#8217;d like to share your course, you have more than one option available.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<hr class=\"section-divider\" \/>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"section section-white body-section-wrapper alignfull wp-block-bc-sitka-spruce-body-section\">\n\t<div class=\"container-xl\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\n<div class=\"body-section-content col-md-8\">\n\t\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-brutus-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e5bd6b9ca0cb9558a6f6c03f01992e55\">OPTION 1 Request a Reference Shell<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Reference Shell is your go-to solution for maintaining an up-to-date, accessible copy of your course. This ensures your content is always ready to copy into new sections each quarter. Don\u2019t have one yet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can make a request to add or remove users for specific roles, such as Observers or Associate Teachers, without impacting your active teaching sections by submitting a ticket through the Technology Service Desk.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you log into the Technology Service Desk ticketing system Team Dynamix, TDX using your Bellevue College credentials in the upper right-hand corner here is the path:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Service Catalog &gt; Canvas &gt; Canvas &gt; Canvas Roles Add or Remove Request.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will be able to add a user to your Reference Shell. The Canvas Roles Add or Remove Request provides the necessary information fields to process your request. Please add any added details in the \u201cOther\u201d field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Associate Teacher&nbsp;in a Reference Shell<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can view the content and download a copy of the content. You can export your course and save it in a repository of your choice, like OneDrive or Google Drive, and share it with anyone you choose. This gives you full control over where and how your content is stored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend that a backup be downloaded at the end of each quarter, along with a copy of the gradebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting January 2026, no users will be added to the past quarter sections.
