You will notice new workflow styles to what is commonly encountered in Classic Quizzes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New Quizzes will be enabled for all users on&nbsp;<strong>April 18, 2023.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty will have 2 choices when creating a new quiz: New or Classic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty have the option to continue using Classic Quizzes of Canvas pages, assignments, etc. It does NOT use<strong> <\/strong>the old&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/community.canvaslms.com\/t5\/Instructor-Guide\/How-do-I-use-the-Rich-Content-Editor-in-New-Quizzes\/ta-p\/654\" target=\"_blank\">rich content editor<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is <strong>no HTML editor available.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MathQuill is the default equation editor, though LaTex is still supported.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To link to the course file in a quiz question, copy\/paste the file URL into the text editor.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Questions from item banks must be edited in the item bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"question-creation\">Question Creation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is no partial credit&nbsp;<em>without<\/em>&nbsp;penalty.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stimulus questions cannot be used in item banks because the association between the stimulus and attached questions is lost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic response feedback must be added to assessment questions before students start a quiz.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"types\">Question Types<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>New Quizzes includes several question types not available in Classic Quizzes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hot Spot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Categorization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ordering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stimulus Content<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each quiz can include a mix of automatically and manually graded questions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr quiz responses or Student Analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Embedding Video\/audio in the quiz or the quiz submission<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linking documents, images or videos previously uploaded to your Course Files&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sharing&nbsp;the quiz to Canvas Commons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of&nbsp;external tools within the quiz (i.e. Google Drive, MiVideo)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of
