August 21st &#8211; August 22nd, 2018<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructional Designers&nbsp;will conduct interactive workshops and presentations on the following possible topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Canvas Basics:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aligning Your Syllabus, Rubrics, and Gradebook<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Importing Previous Canvas Courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intermediate Canvas:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Groups &amp; Peer Reviews<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office 365 Integration in Canvas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Video in Canvas:&nbsp;<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using Videos\/Screencasts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video Captioning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accessibility:&nbsp;<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Making Your Documents &amp; Presentations Accessible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making Your Canvas Sites Accessible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Educational Resources (OER)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using Copyrighted Materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We will have four concurrent sessions. Facilitators will demonstrate a concept and share effective examples of activities in Canvas. Each session will have a hands-on component where you will get time to update your current Canvas course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maximum number of participants: <\/strong>40<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> August 21st &amp; August 22nd<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong>&nbsp; 8am &#8211; 4pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>8am &#8211; Breakfast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8.30am \u2013 11:30am \u2013 Topic (4 Concurrent Sessions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11:30 \u2013 Noon &#8211; Lunch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Noon \u2013 1pm \u2013 Demo Hour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1pm \u2013 4pm \u2013 Topic (4 Concurrent Sessions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Last Date to Register: <\/strong>August 10th<strong>&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Bellevue College Main Campus \u2013 Library Media Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Meals:<\/strong> Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Breakfast will begin&nbsp;at 8am.
