Bellevue College will add Analytics 2 in Canvas after December 11th. Analytics 2 will improve the visual representation of course data for students and instructors. Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/community.canvaslms.com\/docs\/DOC-15581-canvas-release-analytics-beta-student-grade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Analytics 2 release notes<\/a> for details on this release.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights for Analytics 2:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will exist concurrently with the existing analytic tool in a Canvas course.\u00a0 You can use either one to view course data.<\/li>\n<li>Will eventually replace the current analytics tool.<\/li>\n<li>By default, it is hidden in the course menu. Instructors can unhide the menu item in the <a href=\"https:\/\/community.canvaslms.com\/docs\/DOC-12933-415257079\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Navigation settings.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>When Analytics 2 is active in the course menu, the link will not be visible to students.<\/li>\n<li>The tool is retroactive and displays all existing course information.<\/li>\n<li>Data is updated every 24 hours and will display the time since the last update on screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At InstructureCon 2018, the company announced that Analytics 2 will be released.
