About Me<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a lifelong software geek who loves exploring both web-based apps and full-featured desktop programs. Since 2007, I\u2019ve taught Business Technology and Information Technology in the SBT division at Bellevue College. Before moving to Washington from Texas, I taught graphic design and electronic imaging, earned a Master\u2019s in Interdisciplinary Arts, ran a couple of coffee shops, managed computer labs at Texas A&M University\u2013Corpus Christi, and even hosted beach drum circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Bellevue College, I also support faculty and staff with technology through one-on-one help and workshops. Many of my classes are part of the nationally recognized IBEST program, known for accelerating students into college-level and professional\/vocational coursework. IBEST classes are team-taught, and my teaching partner, Marie Brissette, and I have led team-teaching workshops for colleges across the state and country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I\u2019m not on campus\u2014or tinkering with computers\u2014you\u2019ll usually find me making or listening to music, enjoying science fiction, eating, or sleeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
