We are grateful for the many veterans who are part of our college community and wish everyone a meaningful Veterans Day. Celebrate Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Veterans Resource Center<\/a>, VRC, U306.
The final day of Student Canvas Training Online Weekly<\/a> is November 12. As the training wraps up, this week’s focus is on making assignments and submissions in Canvas smoother for students. From rubrics<\/a>, peer reviews<\/a>, and annotations<\/a> we have you covered. Support your success by checking file formats, confirming submissions, and understanding the limitations of the Canvas mobile app [Android <\/a>or iOS<\/a>] before submitting coursework.
Success in online learning also comes from pacing yourself. Breaking larger assignments into smaller tasks can make them feel more manageable and reduce stress. Setting aside time each day and getting enough sleep can improve focus, learning, and overall well-being.
With Pacific Northwest weather becoming cooler and less predictable, remember to dress in layers and plan ahead for changing conditions.
