My first degree in General Agriculture was completed at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad campus. I completed my Masters in Applied Plant Science at Wye College (University of London). My Ph.D. was granted by the University of Hawaii in Agronomy where I specialized in legumes.<\/p>\n<p>I worked as an Agronomist for the Government of Trinidad and managed a nature center in Trinidad called the Wild Fowl Trust. I joined Bellevue College in 2005 as a tutor and eventually became one of the adjunct faculty teaching Biology, Nutrition and Environmental Science. When I am not working, I am taking care of my two kids, and my dog.\u00a0 I have volunteered for multiple Environmental Organizations.<\/p>\n<p>I am originally from Jamaica and moved to Trinidad at age 10. I have also lived in England and Hawaii.
