The Future of Work, a panel discussion
The Future of Work, a panel discussion
February 24, 2021, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Online - MS Teams
Come join Bellevue College’s Center for Career Connections for a panel discussion about the future of work. As AI and other technologies emerge, connectivity accelerates, and we face new threats to human and ecosystem health, the nature of the workforce will inevitably shift in the coming decades. New jobs and careers will emerge. Some skills will be less in demand, while others will be more valuable than ever. How can college students and recent graduates prepare for jobs that don’t even exist yet? Our panelist don’t pretend to have all the answers, but they will share some valuable insights and advice, especially for students and recent grads who are seeking career advancement in a rapidly changing world. Our panelists:
- Joe Fain, Executive Director, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce
- Emil Riccardi, VP of Product & Technology, Expedia
- Jennifer Graves, VP of Quality and Safety / Regional Chief Nursing Executive, Kaiser Permanente WA
- Al Lewis, VP of Economic and Workforce Development, Bellevue College
- Dr. Anneliese Vance-Sherman, Regional Labor Economist, State of Washington
