In this book, Cameron retells northwest coast native myths together using the social and spiritual power of women. Issues of colonization, gender, and community are presented in clever stories of triumph over adversity. Throughout the narratives are a set of values that include respect, caring, and love for each another and the environment.

Other Information

• Participants will need to agree to the Book Club Guidelines in the registration form before they can participate.
• Books will be provided at kickoff meeting on November 4. If students or employees are unable to attend the kickoff meeting, they can collect the book from B202 – Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion by 11/8/19. Books will not be handed out after that day.
