Happy Winter! In this event we will chase away the chill and explore how to make authentic Somali chai tea and gain insight into Somali culture. It's the first cultural lunch of the new Arabic Culture Student Association. Please join us on Thursday, January 7 at 1PM on MS Teams. Please join us tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 7) at 1:00 p.m. for our first Cultural Lunch of the quarter and a demonstration on Somali Chai.

Abdulmajid Ali, Coordinator for the Arab Cultural Student Association, will show how to make delicious Somali Chai as well as explain the history of how chai made its way into Somalia. This event is open to everyone.
Here are the ingredients you will need.
4 cups of water
3 Cinnamon sticks
8 Cardamom pods
8-12 cloves
4 tea bags
1/2 inch of ginger (optional)
