MLK Essay Writing Contest
January 15, 2021 – January 29, 2021, All day Online
Jan. 15 – Jan. 29, part of MLK Week
From January 15 to 29, students can submit a short essay on any topic that celebrates the work and legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The best 20 submissions will earn the writer a book by a prominent Black author.
Essays must be maximum of 500 words and must be your original work. Judges will select twenty essays written by students who will receive a book written by a prominent black author.
Essays will be judged on creativity, clarity, content, coherence and adherence to theme.
