Aris M. Andrade was selected as the Faculty Commons Program Manager in January 2015. Prior to that, she worked for the Bellevue College Library. In coordination with the Dean, she managed the Library’s budget ensuring the Library continued to provide high-quality information literacy resources, professional development for librarians and staff, as well as, providing optimal study space for students, faculty, and staff.
Aris has twelve years of experience in increasingly responsible administrative roles. She has worked for various government agencies, including Community Services Bureau in Contra Costa County, California, State of Nevada Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Lancaster City Bureau of Police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
In her current role at the Faculty Commons, Aris manages the budget, runs general operations of the Commons, schedules, coordinates and markets workshops and events. In addition, she provides support to faculty ensuring they benefit from all services the Faculty Commons has to offer. She is a firm supporter of Education and its power to change individuals’ lives.
Aris holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Management from Regis University. She is currently working on a Human Resources Management certificate. In her spare time, Aris enjoys reading, dancing, swimming and spending time with her two children, Grace and Alberto.
