Are you ready to confront your own teaching practices and consider new ways to make your classroom more inclusive? Come read and discuss bell hooks&#8217; foundational work Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom with facilitators Christina Sciabarra and Jos\u00e9 Aparicio. See how hooks \u201ccelebrates teaching that enables transgressions- a movement against and beyond boundaries\u2026 which makes education the practice of freedom.\u201d Come read about engaged pedagogy and teaching with fun and love.<\/p>\n<p>This book club will focus on understanding and applying hooks&#8217; work to our own teaching through reading, reflection, and discussion in a supportive community environment.
