Antisemitism is not a thing of the past.\u00a0\u00a0Indeed, it exists in our community today and there is evidence that it is on the rise. This interactive workshop will offer participants an overview of the history of antisemitism and its manifestations in the contemporary world. Points of emphasis will include\u00a0the ancient and medieval roots of\u00a0antisemitism<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">&#8211;<\/span>\u00a0the proliferation of online hate, and how Jewish experiences in the United States parallel those of other targeted groups and the proliferation of online hate.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the workshop, participants will\u00a0read about terminology and recent antisemitic incidents.
