Readings and videos help participants recognize the intersections between climate justice and racial, economic, gender, intergenerational, and other systemic forms of injustice and generate ideas for civic engagement in their classrooms. With significant one-on-one feedback and support via online discussion boards, participants emerge from the Institute with a climate justice lesson that addresses a social justice issue that intersects with climate impacts and involves students in civic engagement. You can teach your climate justice lesson anytime during the 2022-23 academic year, or as early as this summer if you are ready.
