Wednesdays, July 15th, & 22nd, 2:300 – 4:00pm on Zoom & asynchronous work on Canvas<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This beginner-friendly Excel workshop is designed for faculty, staff, and administrators who are new to data analysis and eager to enhance their daily work through more effective use of data. Over the course of four weeks, participants will develop practical skills to organize spreadsheets, summarize key statistics, and create meaningful visualizations using Excel\u2019s built-in tools. Whether you\u2019re exploring student success, program performance, or institutional trends, this workshop will help you confidently use data to support evidence-based decision-making. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first two weeks feature live 1.5-hour Zoom sessions that include short lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and group discussions. During the final two weeks, participants will apply what they\u2019ve learned through a mini project using a dataset relevant to their role or interests. Participants who attend both live sessions and complete the final project will receive a stipend and professional development (PD) hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No prior Excel experience is needed\u2014just bring your curiosity and a data question you\u2019d like to explore. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to use tools such as formulas, charts, Text-to-Columns, formatting and layout techniques, and AI-assisted Excel features to uncover insights and communicate data stories with confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 PD Hours and $250 <\/strong>Stipend<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>for eligible faculty attending  both sessions, completing the weekly assignments, and  submitting a final project <\/p>\n\n\n\n
