Campus Master Plan Update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue College is currently updating its Campus Master Plan to guide the future growth and development of the campus over the next several years. The updated plan will help ensure the campus can continue to support evolving academic programs, student services, housing, sustainability, and community needs while advancing the college’s mission and strategic priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this work, Bellevue College is partnering with the City of Bellevue on a related land use planning process. The City is establishing a new institutional land use district for Bellevue College that is intended to align with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and support the college’s long-term campus development needs. The Campus Master Plan update and the City’s land use process are being developed in coordination to help ensure future campus growth is thoughtfully planned and compatible with the surrounding community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2017 Facilities Master Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The below Facilities Master Plan (FMP) was finalized in 2017 and based on enrollments nearly double Bellevue College’s 2026 face-to-face course registration. The impact of online learning has reshaped higher education in many ways, including facility planning. The 2017 FMP remains active on the college website as a historical perspective on considerations that were largely sidelined due to the realities of a post-Covid teaching and learning environment. Further, the recently adopted Bellevue College Strategic Plan, Foundational Priority 4, Operations<\/a>, is focused heavily on sustainability, stewardship, and budget. While this page will remain active throughout the City of Bellevue’s 2026-2027 LUCA outreach, it is unlikely to be central to any zoning decisions. The next FMP for Bellevue College is in the early stages of development in accordance with the State Board for Community and Technical College (SBCTC) and budget realities. It will be finalized in late 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
