College Success & First-Year Seminar<\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Bellevue College students, whose primary intent is to earn either the AAS-DTA or the Associate of Science Track I or II degrees, must fulfill the College Success<\/strong> requirement (previously noted as a First-Year Seminar requirement)

College Success as a degree requirement should be taken in the first-two quarters of a new-to-college student\u2019s coursework. First-Year Seminar (FYS)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

FYS 101 is the most common way to fulfill the College Success requirement. This three-credit, transfer-level class is offered every quarter and is a great introduction to college for first-time college students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new course, FYS 102 is now being offered that is designed for students further along in their college careers. FYS 102 is open to students with 30 quarterly credits completed or by instructor approval.\u00a0
