Wellness Week
The GBV Prevention Office has partnered with faculty and staff on campus to bring you some programming centering on wellness. There will be virtual and some in person options for students to learn about wellness, how to use the dimensions of wellness in their lives, and new ways to talk care of themselves during the school year.

Stop by the fountain to pick up a wellness wheel and self-care plan to learn new ways to combine wellness and self-care into your weekly routine.
Val Tovar (Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and Amy Swanson (Health Sciences Education & Wellness Institute) be there to answer questions and can’t wait to see you then!

Relationship Intentions: Boundaries, Intuition, & Communication
Tamara Boynton Howard, Program Chair for Health & Wellness, will be hosting a virtual workshop for students on topics around relationships and wellness.
Description – You can allow people to get on your nerves or you can set new relationship intentions. In this workshop we use play and intuition to set healthy boundaries and improve communication.

Fall Garden Event
Stop by the student garden from 11 am to 1 pm and help weed, chat with fellow BC Bulldogs, plant fall crops, and learn about how you can get involved. All are welcome!

Overcoming the Overwhelm: Managing burnout
Tamara Boynton Howard, Program Chair for Health & Wellness, will be hosting a virtual workshop for students on topics around stress and wellness.
Description – Managing burnout, stress, and a little bit of anxiety – Are you tired? A little stressed? Overwhelmed? Wanna cry a little bit at all the things on your plate? It’s okay. We’ll use play and intuition to manage our lives. Hint: Something has to go!

To sleep or not to sleep: Enhancing sleep and wellness
Description – Jennifer Parada, from the Psychology Department, will be hosting a virtual workshop for students on sleep and how to get better sleep for the school year. Learn some new ways to sleep better and ask questions about healthy sleep.
