As outlined in the Clery Act and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), we uphold policies and provide educational opportunities that promote awareness, accountability, and support.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most powerful tools we have is bystander intervention, recognizing harmful or potentially harmful situations and choosing to respond in a safe and effective way.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Bystander Intervention?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A bystander is anyone who observes a situation but isn\u2019t directly involved.
