The Campus Program encourages a comprehensive coordinated community approach and supports activities that develop and strengthen trauma-informed victim services and strategies to prevent, investigate, and respond to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coordinated Community Response Team<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) is a multi-disciplinary team of campus and community partners that meet regularly to assess, plan, monitor, and evaluate campus prevention and response efforts. BC&#8217;s CCRT includes staff and faculty from multiple departments and offices including Student Conduct; Title IX; Residence Life; Public Safety; Office of Community Care &amp; Institutional Transformation; Student Programs; Disability Resource Center; Athletics; International Education; Occupational Life Skills; Health and Physical Education; Criminal Justice; and others. The CCRT also includes representatives from BC&#8217;s community partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/dawnrising.org\/\">DAWN<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mission Statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bellevue College CCRT develops trauma-informed programs and educates our community to address and prevent gender-based violence while challenging the beliefs and behaviors that perpetuate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Value Statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We aim to create a campus culture that is safe, inclusive, and welcoming.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a team, we value:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborating with a wide range of campus and community partners&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting survivor-centered policies and practices&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognizing that oppression is a root cause of sexual and domestic violence, and committing to challenge oppression in all its forms&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging honest and open conversation that values diverse perspectives&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivating an environment that promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness in ourselves, our campus, and our community&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GBV Prevention Program is supported by the Campus Program grant, which was awarded to Bellevue College by the Office on Violence Against Women in 2018.
