{"id":410,"date":"2022-09-16T13:30:35","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T20:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/gbvprevention\/?page_id=410"},"modified":"2024-11-12T09:26:34","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T17:26:34","slug":"reporting-options-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/gbvprevention\/reporting-options-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Reporting Options"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/about-us\/report-concerns\/\">Report a Concern<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/gbvprevention\/file-a-complaint\/\">File a Complaint<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/gbvprevention\/obtain-a-protection-order\/\">Obtain a Protection Order<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/gbvprevention\/federal-laws-and-regulations\/\">Federal Laws and Regulations<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Campus Sexual Assault Victims\u2019 Bill of Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Campus Sexual Assault Victims&#8217; Bill of Rights&#8221; exists as a part of the campus security<br>reporting requirements under the Jeanne Clery Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Survivors shall be informed of their options to notify law enforcement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Survivors shall be notified of counseling services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Survivors shall be notified of options for changing academic and living<br>situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accuser and accused must have the same opportunity to have others present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both parties shall be informed of the outcome of any disciplinary proceeding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act<br>(commonly referred to as the \u201cClery Act\u201d), 20 U.S.C. \u00a7 1092(f), was named after a 19-year old<br>freshman at Lehigh University who was raped and murdered in her campus dorm. The Clery<br>Act requires colleges and universities receiving federal aid to: keep and disclose crime<br>information from, on, or near campus (within the Clery geography); provide an Annual<br>Security Report (\u201cASR\u201d) by October 1st of each school year; maintain a crime log and crime<br>statistics; have a policy to timely disclose emergencies or threats to the campus<br>community; as well as have policies to handle reports of missing students.
