These trainings are not optional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Winter 2026 students must complete these courses by March 31, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To discuss the requirement, whether it applies to you, or any concerns, please email <a href=\"mailto:sahba.azami@bellevuecollege.edu\">katilyn.vallance@bellevuecollege.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation in this important training.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Do I Complete the Trainings?&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive an email from our training partner,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bellevuecollegestudents-wa.vectorlmsedu.com\/login\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bellevuecollegestudents-wa.vectorlmsedu.com\/login\">Vector Solutions<\/a>. Follow the link in that email to begin the training.&nbsp; The training modules are self-paced.&nbsp;<strong>This training is<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>mandatory for new students<\/strong>. You&#8217;ll receive weekly reminder emails until you complete the modules. The trainings are free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Are These Trainings Required?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RespectEdu:<\/strong> Colleges and universities nationwide are required by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) \/ Campus SaVE Act to educate students, staff and faculty on preventing sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hazing Awareness and Prevention for Students:<\/strong> Washington State\u2019s Sam\u2019s Law requires institutions of higher education in Washington to provide all students with hazing prevention education annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Understanding Opioid and Fentanyl Misuse:<\/strong> RCW 28B.10.578 requires institutions of higher education in Washington to provide education on the risks of opioid misuse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for Students:<\/strong> RCW 28B.10.149 requires institutions of higher education in Washington to provide education on diversity, inclusion and equity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if I am a Running Start student, a College in the High School student, or only taking one class?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Every new Bellevue College student is required to complete the assigned trainings, regardless of program or credit load. If you have previously completed these trainings at another college, you are also required to complete them at Bellevue College, unless you can provide a Certificate of Completion. If you have a Certificate of Completion for any of the trainings, please email it to Kaitlyn Vallance at kaitlyn.vallance@bellevuecollege.edu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I Am Experiencing Technical Difficulties, What Do I Do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the recommendations from&nbsp;Vector&nbsp;Solutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using&nbsp;a&nbsp;different&nbsp;browser&nbsp;has helped students when dealing with this issue. The various&nbsp;browsers you can switch between, depending on your device,&nbsp;are&nbsp;Chrome,&nbsp;Firefox, Safari&nbsp;and Edge. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&nbsp;are&nbsp;attempting to complete the training on your phone or tablet,&nbsp;attempt to use&nbsp;a&nbsp;laptop or desktop computer.&nbsp;Trying these options tends to resolve issues for other students when they can&#8217;t move forward.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If that does not work,&nbsp;attempt to use incognito mode on your&nbsp;browser. This has worked for students when step #1 did not work.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If none of the steps above work, you&#8217;ll need to contact&nbsp;Vector&nbsp;Solutions for direct&nbsp;assistance&nbsp;as there may be&nbsp;a&nbsp;technical issue. Please submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.vectorsolutions.com\/s\/article\/Submitting-a-Ticket-to-Report-an-Issue\">Vector Solution Support Ticket<\/a>. They have&nbsp;a&nbsp;quick turnaround time for responses.
